One Final Story About Jazzmyn Before You Leave...

Jazzmyn and I started our lives together living in Chapel Hill and quickly moved to Bynum, NC, a small town with a general store and a cranky postmaster that would make you do pig calls to get your packages from the general store's post office. One afternoon Jazzmyn and her sister Molly were out chasing critters and managed to corner a squirrel in the garden. No matter how much yelling happened to get those dogs back into the house neither responded until in a random freak occurance, both myself and my roommate shouted "Jazzmyn Marie" and "Molly Belle" to gain their attention! Both dogs immediately jerked to attention and ran into the house lickety split! Prior to this neither dog had a middle name - but at 6 months old they clearly knew that all proper Southern Ladies, even dogs, need middle names to be truly called on!

That is just one of the many stories of Jazzmyn - do not even get me started about the time she split 10 glasses of sangria with two other pups while a group of friends laid out watching a meteor shower on my deck! She was the best dog and best companion I have ever had. She lives on forever in my heart.
